Paragraph On A Visit to The National Museum
It was a long cherished desire to the
visit National Museum which is situated at Shahbag in Dhaka. One day I got an
opportunity to visit the National Museum when I went to my uncle’s house in
Dhaka. One Friday being accompanied by my cousin I went to Shahbag by bus. We bought
two tickets for entrance into the museum. We entered the museum and went
to the first floor of the building which is the starting point of the exhibition. At
first, we saw a big map of Bangladesh in which every district and even Upzillas
are marked by lights. Then we started to see all the things one after another. There
are so many things to see in the museum that one cannot believe without seeing
with one’s own eyes. Among them, the skeleton of whales, sculptures, the world-famous Moslin Sharee, Nakshi Kantha, the images of wild animals, musical instruments,
different types of coins of the past, and war weapons are noteworthy. On the second
floor, the picture of renewed and historical figures of our country are
preserved. I have enriched my knowledge by seeing the things used in our liberation
war. We had to spend about two and a half an hour visiting all the things. We had
to follow the rules of the museum. We were not allowed to touch the arranged
things. We have gathered practical experience by visiting our culture,
tradition, heritage, history, and liberation in the National Museum.
বাংলা অনুবাদ : জাতীয় যাদুঘর পরিদর্শন করা ছিল আমার দীর্ঘ দিনের লালিত স্বপ্ন যেটি ঢাকার শাহবাগে অবস্থিত। একদিন ঢাকায় আমার চাচার বাসায় বেড়ানোর সময় আমি জাতীয় যাদুঘর পরিদর্শনের সুযোগ পেয়েছিলাম। এক শুক্রবারে আমি আমার চাচাত ভাইয়ের সাথে বাসে করে শাহবাগ গিয়েছিলাম। যাদুঘরে প্রবেশের জন্য আমরা দুটি টিকেট কিনেছিলাম। আমরা যাদুঘরে প্রবেশ করলাম এবং ভবনের প্রথম তলাতে গিয়েছিলাম যেটি ছিল প্রদর্শনীর প্রথম পদক্ষেপ। প্রথমে আমরা বাংলাদেশের বড় ম্যাপ দেখতে পেলাম যেখানে আলোর দ্বারা প্রতিটি জেলা এবং উপজেলা নির্দেশ করা ছিল। তারপর আমরা সমস্ত কিছু একটার পর একটা দেখতে শুরু করলাম। যাদুঘরে দেখার মতো অনেক কিছু আছে যা যে কেউ নিজ চোখে না দেখা পর্যন্ত বিশ্বাস করতে পারবে না। তার মধ্যে তিমির কঙ্কাল, ভাস্কর্য, বিশ্ববিখ্যাত মসলিন শাড়ি, নকশিকাঁথা, বন্যপ্রাণীর প্রতিমূর্তি, বাদ্যযন্ত্র, অতীতের বিভিন্ন ধরনের মুদ্রা, যুদ্ধাস্ত্রসমূহ হলো মূল্যবান প্রতীক। দ্বিতীয় তলাতে আমাদের দেশের খ্যাতিমান ও ঐতিহাসিক ব্যক্তিত্বদের প্রতিকৃতি সংরক্ষণ করা হয়েছে। স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে ব্যবহৃত জিনিসগুলো দেখে আমি আমার জ্ঞানকে সমৃদ্ধ করেছি। সবকিছু পর্যবেক্ষণ করতে আমাদের আড়াই ঘণ্টা সময় লেগেছিল। আমাদের যাদুঘরের নিয়ম-কানুন মেনে চলতে হয়েছিল। উপস্থাপিত বিষয়সমূহের উপর হাত দিতে আমরা অনুমতি পেলাম না। জাতীয় যাদুঘর পরিদর্শন করে আমরা আমাদের সংস্কৃতি, প্রথা, ঐতিহ্য, ইতিহাস এবং স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধ সম্পর্কে বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জন করেছিলাম
