Paragraph On Daylight Saving

Daylight saving means putting forward the clocks one hour to get an extra hour of daylight. This is usually done in the summer when the days are longer. Many countries follow this system. Bangladesh has also introduced this system. Daylight saving is a beneficial system for our country. People can make maximum utilization of daylight. Office-goers, students, businessmen, shopkeepers, and even day labourers are greatly benefited from this system. Office workers get plenty of time to complete their jobs. Students return home well ahead of the evening and get enough time for recreation which regenerates their spirit to complete their home tasks and assignments successfully. Businessmen and business organizations can continue their business for longer periods. Shopkeepers can keep their shops open for an additional hour. This benefits the common people and the shopkeepers are also benefited from the increase in their sales. Daylight saving helps the day labourers to earn more by working more. Indeed, daylight saving adds new momentum to people’s work. It accelerates the country’s pace of development. This system also helps us in another way. We have a dearth of power generation in our country. This causes frequent load-shedding all over the country. Through this system, most of the work can be finished in daylight and a lot of power is saved. This helps to mitigate our power crisis. All sectors get sufficient power to ensure our development. So, daylight saving is really a beneficial system.
