Lives of Great Men All Remind Us, We Can Make Our Lives Sublime (মহৎ ব্যক্তির জীবনী আমাদেরকে মহিমান্বিত করে)
The great men of the world succeeded in
their respective fields because of their utilization of time, energy, and
honesty. They did not reach their goal suddenly. They became great by merit,
nobility of ideals, strength of mind, character, and hard fight against
the difficulties of life. No temptation, no suffering could take them away from
what they left to be true. The value of life depends, not on the number of
years one may live but upon the number of good deeds, one does. We must know the
achievement of freedom fighters in 1971. Their dedicated lives are noble and
true. All people of Bangladesh show great respect to them from their hearts.
Jesus Christ, Alexander the Great, Nazrul, Rabindranath, Mother Teresa, etc. are
no more in the world. But they are living in the heart of people for their
noble activities. We all will remember them forever.

লড়াই, চরিত্র ও মনের শক্তিমত্তাস্বরুপ আদর্শের মহত্ত্ব এবং যোগ্যতাবলে মহান হয়েছিলেন।
তাঁরা যা সত্য বলে অনুভব করতেন কোনো প্রলোভন, কোনো দুঃখক্লেশ তাঁদেরকে তা থেকে হটাতে
পারেনি। একটি জীবনের মূল্যবোধ একজন মানুষ কত বছর বেঁচে থাকতে পারে সেই সংখ্যার উপর
নয়, বরং ভালো কাজের সংখ্যার উপর নির্ভর করে। ১৯৭১ সালে মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের অর্জন আমরা
অবশ্যই জানি। তাঁদের উৎসর্গীকৃত জীবন মহৎ ও অকৃত্রিম। বাংলাদেশের সকল মানুষ তাদের অন্তর
থেকে তাঁদের প্রতি অসামান্য শ্রদ্ধা প্রদর্শন করে। যিশুখ্রিস্ট, আলেক্সেন্ডার দ্য গ্রেট,
নজরুল, রবীন্দ্রনাথ, মাদার তেরেসা প্রমুখ পৃথিবীতে আরে বেঁচে নেই। কিন্তু তাঁরা তাঁদের
মহৎ কর্মের দ্বারা মানুষের হৃদয়ে বসবাস করছেন। আমরা সকলেই তাঁদেরকে চিরকাল স্মরণ করবো।
