When we are courteous we are praised by the people but when we are wicked and ill-tempered, we are criticized by the good neighborhood. It is our duty to be honey-tongued.

Necessity: the necessity of courtesy in modern society is very great. None can live in modern society without courtesy. It is treated as the tonic of a peaceful society. Those, who support being courteous, support the goodness of God. We can’t remain sound in modern society unless we are tolerant, compromising, and moderate. That’s why it is our duty to be courteous.

Symbols: there are different kinds of symbols of courtesy, politeness, modesty, sweet behavior, gentility, and ethical attitude are the symbols of courtesy. If one is democratic, one can be courteous. One needs to bear in mind that courtesy leads one to success. Reverse to courtesy leads one to destruction. There is no enemy of one, who is honey-tongued, but there are many enemies of one, who is ill-tempered and rude.

Key to success: courtesy is a key to success. Those, who are courteous win the heart of the people. Those, who are not courteous fail to win the heart of the people. It is our duty to be courteous if we really want to become successful in the battle of life. The history of the world says that only courteous people are fit for the world, but ill-tempered people are misfits for the world.

Useful to a good neighborhood: Courtesy is useful to a good neighborhood. One, who is courteous is sure to succeed in life. If one is not courteous, one cannot shine in life. Those, who are kind to the world people, can create something productive. But those, who are not polite and modest, create something harassing in society. It is courtesy very important for the world people.

Bring peace: Courtesy brings peace. Peace brings the goodness of God. When we behave gently with people, we shall be praised. When we misbehave with people, we are badly criticized by the people. It is our duty to bring peace to society by being courteous.

Helps to be leading: Courtesy helps us to be leading. All the leaders of the world were courteous. They were honey-tongued. They did not try to hurt any people. They tried to win the heart of the people by being courteous. Courtesy is heavenly bliss, but impoliteness is hellish. We should avoid being hellish.

Helpful for civilization: Courtesy is helpful for civilization. During the ancient period, people were not courteous. They were rude and irrational. They did not know how to be gentle and polite. They were like animals. In the modern period, people have learned how to be courteous. This courtesy is very helpful for the permanence of civilization.

Conclusion: So, we can say that courtesy is an excellent means of developing society. When we shall fail to become courteous, we cannot create a good civilization. If not, we shall lag behind like the people of the past Congo.
