Flowers are the most beautiful creation of nature. The flower does not bloom for itself. It is bloomed for the pleasure of others. Bangladesh is rich in flowers. They are her glory.
Our country has verities of flowers. Spring is an excellent season for flowers. In spring flowers are found everywhere. There are also seasonal flowers besides spring flowers. There are all-season flowers. However, the main flowers are; the rose, the rajanigondha, the lotus, marigold, sunflowers, hasnahena, sheuli, bakul, chameli, kamini, krishna chura, and so many others.
Flowers are of different sizes colours and scents. Some of them have a sweet smell while others have no smell. Pink, red, white, yellow, and multi-coloured flowers are seen in Bangladesh.
Of late- flowers have become a commercial commodity. There are a good number of flower shops in the city of Dhaka. All the big shops are situated in and around Katabon and in the Shahbagh area.
A bouquet can bring mental peace and happiness to a patient. It soothes pain and it gives pleasure to all.
The flower is the beauty of nature. Bangladesh is lucky to have the gift of nature. Let’s try to utilize flowers for our economic development; so we are really proud of it. We should take care of flowers.
