Nowadays ‘Tension’ is a familiar word throughout the world. It means the mental, emotional, and nervous strain of a man. It is a sort of anxiety and depression aroused from different types of frustration or defeat in life. It starts silently in a person and makes him or her psychologically weak. A person may suffer from tension for various reasons. The loss in business, ill health, serious disease, illness, etc. Cause tension. A student feels tension before going to the examination hall. Football, cricket, or other kinds of matches bring tension among the spectators.  A war or a natural calamity brings tension to the whole nation. Tension destroys a man’s peace of mind. When a person is in the grip of tension, it causes many serious diseases like pressure, heart attack, brain stroke, etc. As a result, his health deteriorates day by day. He loses his temper and balance. Even he may die of tension. Sometimes tension compels a man to be addicted to wine or associated with any kind of antisocial activity. In fact, it jeopardizes many valuable lives in our society. At the social and national level, people suffer from social, racial, and political tensions. In the international world, we find border tension and the cold war between nations which may lead to violence and war. Whatever may be the nature or shape or form of tension, it is very dangerous. Therefore we should try to remain aloof from any kind of tension at any cost.
