Dear Anika,

I am writing to you about a devastating flood which happened last month. It lasted about 10 days. Roads and fields were flooded. Even small houses were flooded. The poor people had to leave their houses and took shelter in a multistoried building. They were suffering from various diseases.

The Govt. and some NGOs helped the flood victim people with money. Domestic animals and crops were damaged. Now we are free from danger.
