Your letter is to hand. You wanted to know about the present condition of the environment in Dhaka city. It is not favorable now. It is impossible for living here keeping good health. Air is seriously polluted with the smoke of motor vehicles and industries. Water is also polluted. Wastage is mixed with river water.

Excessive vehicles ply the city every day. They create noise pollution. There are so many rotten things piling up on the road and creating odor pollution. About one crore people live here. Many people here live under the poverty line. They live in the slums. In all respects, Dhaka is not suitable for a better living now. Write to me soon.
