It enables us to see the speaker also. It is now popular all over the world. The word “tele” means distance and “vision” means sight. So, a television means seeing from a distance.

Why invented: Television has been invented to satisfy our eyes and ears equally and simultaneously. We hear the song of an artist hundreds of miles away from us. Radio helps us hear his song. But television places the singer before our eyes. Television is a empowerment on the radio. Television was invented in 1926.

How it works: Television broadcasts news, music, speeches, dramas, weather reports, and views. It educates the illiterate. People find great joy in the news and shows of television.
